To qualify for the Start-up Visa Program, you must meet the admissibility requirements to enter Canada, as well as all the following four eligibility requirements. Have a qualifying business, have a letter of support from a designated organization, meet the language requirements, and have enough money to settle and live in Canada before making money from the business.

The Self-employed immigration pathway program allows people who are self-employed to immigrate to Canada permanently. Interested candidates must have relevant experience in cultural activities or athletics and must be willing and able to make a significant contribution to the cultural or athletic life of Canada. Candidates must meet both eligibility requirements in order to be qualified for this program.
